Artist's Message

Thanks for visiting my website! Creating art has been a passion and love of mine since I was a little girl. I can remember drawing for a class assignment in grade school and my classmates gathering around, asking me to do theirs also. I would say that my desire to create was sparked at that time. I continued to do art into my teens and early adulthood. Then life intervened, as it frequently does, and so my art was put on the proverbial shelf for a while - a long while, as it turned out. So that spark dimmed into an ember, quietly glowing, waiting for me to fan it once more into a fire.

In fact, it was decades later that I saw that a drawing class was offered at our local community college during the summer. I signed up and through that class, was reintroduced to my love of art. I decided at that time that I would never stop creating again. I began to get commissions for my pet portraits, which was a great validation of my work. Painting in oils and acrylics also became a pursuit of mine. I took several formal classes in drawing and art design. I also regularly attend a local painting studio weekly for classes in oil.

This website is a dream realized for me. I'm eager to share my work and my God-given talent with you. My promise is that no one has to compensate for any commissioned work unless they absolutely love it! I work with integrity, as well as the sheer love of the artistic process. It is my ultimate pleasure to make art for your satisfaction, as the creative flame burns brightly once again.
